Cryptocurrency investment varies across generations, with millennials being the most active in investing in cryptocurrency compared to other generations. According to CryptoMonday.de, more millennials in the 3rd quarter of 2022 than any other generation (51%) plan to invest in Bitcoin.
Speaking on the data, Jonathan Merry, CEO of CryptoMonday, said,

Other generations are also investing in cryptocurrency. Gen X is the second-most active generation in BTC investment, with 25% of them saying they would invest in the 3rd quarter of 2022. 19% of Gen Z said they would also invest in BTC in the same quarter, while only 5% of baby boomers said they would do so.
Optimism and Excitement Are High, Yet There Is Uncertainty
There are many skeptics, even though most people are optimistic about cryptocurrencies. Some people fear cryptos due to their volatility. However, many individuals believe that digital assets are the way to go.
Baby boomers, for instance, invested the least in BTC and are less fascinated with cryptocurrency since they are a bit analog. They prefer to invest in something that’s tried and true, like gold or real estate.
Cryptocurrency Is Volatile, but It’s the Future
Despite the risks involved, many investors can not afford to shun cryptocurrency. This is because the potential rewards are too high to ignore.
Many countries are adopting CDBC to enjoy the digital asset frenzy. Besides, various products like BTC ETFs are in the works. So, the crypto world is only getting bigger and better.
Institutional investors are also flooding the space. Both hedge funds and investment firms want to get a piece of the pie. The increased demand is bound to drive up prices.
